About me
I'm Julia and I am a professional musician based in the Thames Valley town of Marlow. I specialise in providing the harp and bagpipes for functions.
I also play the clarinet and the cornet in local bands. So I'm well connected with other musicians and may be able to help you to find other ensembles for your event, eg organists, string quartets, singers, ceilidh bands.

Focus on Functions - a principal by which I operate my business is that once I have been booked by a customer that is a firm commitment - even a subsequent enquiry by Royalty wouldn't compel me to cancel a previously booked wedding!
Bagpipes and Harp - I can provide both bagpipes and harp at the same function, using a quick change outfit so that I'm appropriately dressed for both. My clients that have taken this option have the ease of logistically organising only 1 musician and get a quality bagpiper and quality harpist at a reduced rate compared to if they had booked these musicians individually.
Many Coloured Outfits - I offer a range of outfits for both harp and bagpipes, so I'm confident that I can fit in with your occasion. I can accommodate colour requests for funerals, be it a particular colour or to be cheerful rather than all black, as well as for weddings to either coordinate or stand out from the bridal party.
Local and Trusted - Outstanding customer service and satisfaction is the reason why I get repeat bookings from many function venues and previous customers in the Thames Valley and Chiltern area.

Inspiring Youngsters
Being able to play music teaches us patterns and collaboration and brings a method of stress relief in an all too busy world. A live musician at your event inspires those attending to further their musical aspirations. It is often the children that gravitate to me at events, wanting to strum the harp or stand in amazement at the sound impact of the bagpipes.
